wakha began with a simple love for Japanese incense — and the feeling that a quiet moment should be part of every day, not a luxury. From our home in Marrakech, Morocco, we bring Japan's gentle incense sticks to homes across Morocco and the world, inspired by wabi-sabi, ma, and the art of kōdō.

Our name, わっか (wa-ka), means "ring" in Japanese — the circle of smoke, the cycle of seasons, the ritual that returns you to yourself.
